How to Apply for Domicile Certificate Online in Uttar Pradesh
Government of Uttar Pradesh has made the domicile certificate application process simple for easy understanding. We have given step by step process to apply for domicile certificate in UP. The details are as follows
Step 1: Visit official portal of e-District Uttar Pradesh
Step 2: In the home page click on “Citizen Login (e-sathi)
Step 3: You will be redirected to esathi Uttar Pradesh official page. Login using your username and password if you are already registered with esathi. Or click “New User Registration” to create a new account with esathi.
Step 4: Once you login to the page, types of certificates will be displayed. Select “Domicile certificate” from the list.
Step 5: In the next page enter the required details in the application form and upload all the scanned necessary documents wherever necessary.
Step 6: Make the processing fee through credit cards, debit cards, internet banking or through UPI’s.(Fees amount may be free of cost or charged nominal fees)
Step 7: You will be receiving a successful message with acknowledgement receipt. Acknowledgement receipt carrier all the applicant details, bank details, fees details and application number. You can print this receipt or save it in your computer for future reference.
Step 8: Application process may take up to 1 month to receive your domicile certificate online.
How to Apply In-person for Domicile Certificate in Uttar Pradesh
Even you apply for domicile certificate the traditional way in Uttar Pradesh by visiting the concerned office directly. The details are as follows
Step 1: Visit the Thasildhaar office or revenue department office and approach the concerned authorities to get the details about the domicile certificate application form.
Step 2: Request for application form and fill in all the required details. Please do not forget to carry all the necessary before approaching the concerned authorities.
Step 3: Attach all the supportive documents along with the application form.
Step 4: Submit the filled in application form and the attached documents to the authorities. Double check the details in the application form before submitting.
Step 5: Your application form will be reviewed and scrutinized by Village Administrative Officer (VAO) and followed by Revenue Inspector (RI)
Step 6: Once submitted documents are verified correct and then it will be send to approval of Thasildhaar.
Step 7: Thasildhaar will verify the details and issue the domicile certificate if satisfied with the proper documents and the details.
Step 8: If the Thasildhaar decides to approve the domicile certificate and he/she will approve it with the approval signature.
Step 9: Applicant will be intimated through sms or through email, he can download it online with the given application number or collect it from the concerned office.
