Obtaining certified copy of sale deed in Tamil Nadu

Step 1: Visit Tamil Nadu Registration Department

Step 2: If you are already registered, you can type your username, password and captcha. Then Click “Sign in” to login. If you are a new user, click “User Registration” and create an account with Tamil Nadu Registration Department.

You will asked for below mentioned details for New User Registration

  • User Type – Citizen/Advocate/Society Registration/Firm Registration
  • User Name

  • Your Personal Details like
  • Salutation
  • First Name

You have to verify the given details through mobile number with OTP and complete the registration.

Step 3: Once you complete the new user registration login again using your new user name and password.

Step 4: In the home page you can see your name and last login details for reference. Click “E services” in menu bar, then click “Certificate copy” in sub menu and then click “Search and Apply CC” in drop down menu.

Step 5: You will be redirected to another page. In the search document menu, you have to select as per your service request (Property deed/Society Registration/Firm Registration) in document type.

Step 6: Type “Document No” then select your “Sub Registrar Office” and then select your “Document Year”

Step 7: Type the given Captcha and then click “Search”

Step 8: In the next page, you can see  your document details. Now click “Apply Now”

Step 9: In the next page menu, you have to enter your personal details like name and contact details. Then click “Save and Next”

Step 10: Small pop up page will appear now. Read the instructions and then click “Ok”

Step 11: You will be directed to payment and CC collection page. There you can see the details of your application number and fee details. Read it and then click “Pay”

Step 12: Next page is E Payment Page, you have to fill up the details are as follows

  • Applicant Name
  • Office Name
  • Address
  • Applicant Details

Step 13: Read all the other details and click “Submit”

Step 14: Small pop up page will appear with the details of application number and request submitted successfully. Then click “Pay Now”

Step 15: In the next page you can see the details of your application number, Applicant name and service type. Now select the bank if your bank is listed in the page or select “SBI Gateway” if your bank is not listed. Then click “Submit”

Step 16: Terms and conditions page will be displayed. Read it and tick the check box. Then click “Submit”

Step 17: Now have to select the mode of payment. You can make your payment through Credit, Debit cards and through net banking.

Step 18: Make the payment and you will redirected to registration department official portal. Now you can see “Payment Successful Page”. Your payment bank reference number, CIN number and transaction Id will be displayed. Keep the details for future reference. Now click “Generate Acknowledgement”.

Step 19: In the next page click “click here to download PDF” to download your acknowledgement receipt.

Step 20: You can download your document within 24 hours depends on working schedule of the registration department.

Step 3: In the next page you can see the current status of your application.
