How to apply for schedule caste certificate online in Punjab
We have given simplified method to apply for SC certificate online in Punjab. There is a step by step process provided for easy understanding of the application.
Step 1: Visit Digital and Official Portal of Government of Punjab
Step 2: In the home page select “Caste Certificate SC” under top services.
Step 3: You will be directed to Application for Caste Certificate SC page. Read all the instructions and supportive documents details given. Then select “Login to Apply”
Step 4: In the next page, you have to enter your mobile number or email id as user name and password to login to digital Punjab. If not registered click “Don’t have account? Register now” to create an account.
Step 5: In the next page read the given instructions and click “Apply for service”
Step 6: You will be directed to Citizen Profile page, you have to fill up all the requested Personal information.
Step 7: Then fill in all the required details in the online application like father’s name, mother’s name, marital status, emails Id, Phone number and so on. (Required details are given above in this article)
Step 8: After filling all the details, in the Step 3 in the application, you have to fill up the service details correctly without any mistake. Fill up your correct Religion, Caste and Verification number, issued to details, designation of issuing person. Then click “Submit”
Step 9: Pop up page appears once you click submit. It reads as “Your application has been submitted successfully. Please upload documents to complete the application”. Click “Ok”
Step 10: Your application ID will be displayed in the next page. Upload all the necessary documents, tick the check box and click “Upload documents”
Step 11: Now you will redirected to payment page. Click “Pay via PayGov”
Step 12: Pay the necessary fees through credit card, debit card and net banking. Pay the card details or net banking details and click “Make Payment”
Step 13: You will receive the acknowledgement slip once you made the payment. Save it to your computer or take a print out of the receipt for future reference. Acknowledgement receipt carries details like application Id, applicant name and bank transaction details.
Step 14: You will be intimated through sms or email once your caste certificate is ready. Normally it will take 7 to 14 days to process your application.
